• Ganesha - the lord of good beginnings. Break old habits from time to time and starting something new refreshes your mind. 

• Hanuman - the monkey god of strength and courage. Pictured here is a scene from Hanuman’s story, where he was sent to the Himalayas to retrieve a magical herb. Upon reaching the sacred mountain peak, he found that he could not find the herb in time. As a solution, he grew to a giant size, uprooted the entire mountain and flew back with it. Surround yourself with encouraging and supportive friends who help you find your inner strength 

• Garuda - the eagle god of the skies. Pictured here is a scene from Garuda’s story, where he was tasked to travel to the realm of the Gods and retrieve the nectar of immortality in order to liberate his mother from slavery, which was guarded by a fiery wheel and two poisonous snakes. Go after what’s important to you with all your heart, and stay curious about learning new things along the way. 

The backgrounds seen in the images are from a popular children’s comic book series from my childhood called ‘Amar Chitra Katha’, featuring stories from Indian mythology.
